Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CardioVa application ("the App") provided by CardioVa ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
CardioVa is a health tracking application that allows you to log blood pressure, blood glucose, medications, and meals; view health trends and analytics; receive AI-powered health insights; and generate reports to share with healthcare providers.
CardioVa is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) accessible through web browsers on mobile and desktop devices.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Subscription Plans
CardioVa offers three tiers of service:
- Free: Basic health tracking with limited features, free forever
- Pro: Extended features including unlimited readings, advanced trends, AI insights, and health reports
- Max: All Pro features plus caregiver monitoring, device integration, and unlimited lab scans
New users receive a 14-day free trial of Pro features. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Use the App to collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
- Share your account credentials with others
6. Health Data and Medical Disclaimer
CardioVa is not a medical device. The App is designed for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. See our full Medical Disclaimer for details.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the health data you enter into the App. We do not verify the accuracy of user-entered health readings.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by CardioVa and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardioVa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health decisions made based on information provided by the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Data & Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
